目前为止，全英国共有240多所学校已将译赛考试作为入学筛选的必要程序。在不久的将来，全英国所有学校都将承认译赛考试成绩，并将译赛考试作为入学筛选的必要考试。学生能使用译赛考试成绩申请全英任意一所学校，因为译赛考试成绩单能将考生和英国同龄申请人直接比较，并对考生的学习潜力和英语水平提供有家长的评估信息，能使招生部门有效且快速地作出评估。
学校对译赛考试的使用方式各不相同。有些学校直接将译赛报告单作为评估学生是否符合学校招生的标准（可能还需要参加其他学校考试），有些学校将译赛作为入学考试。
